About Us
Our history
Our story began in Lisbon, during our degree in Physical Education and School Sport, where a strong friendship blossomed between us, driven by our love of life, nature and sport.
Together, we embarked on a journey that led us to a master’s degree and a career as physical education teachers. On the one hand, Tiago, with his bucolic soul, dreamed of creating a refuge in the countryside, while Rodrigo, a local surfer, wanted to welcome surfers from all over the world.
Discovering that we had more in common than we had imagined, we united our dreams and created Wild Nature Surf Camp, a refuge where the calm of the countryside meets the energy of the sea, to experience moments of peace, adventure and connection.

Our Location
The Costa Vicentina is a stunning coastal region located in Portugal’s southwest Alentejo, known for its unspoiled natural landscapes, stunning beaches and tranquil atmosphere. Porto Covo is a picturesque fishing village located along the Costa Vicentina, known for its rustic charm and natural beauty, thus conveying the values and culture of Portugal.
The southwest of Alentejo is a treasure trove of unspoiled landscapes, where nature reveals all its exuberance. With stunning beaches, imposing cliffs and vast horizons, this region offers a unique experience where the sea meets the land. It is a paradise for nature lovers, full of wild beauty and marine serenity.

With qualified instructors and a variety of surf spots, it’s the ideal place to learn and practice with quality and safety.

At Wild Nature Surf Camp, sustainability is more than just a buzzword – it’s a commitment deeply rooted in our values and principles. We are deeply concerned about the state of our environment, aware of the challenges we face, from climate change to the loss of biodiversity. So we recognize the urgency of acting now to protect our planet for future generations.
We are committed to sustainability through:
• Beach Cleaning Events: We mobilize our community to keep our beaches clean, protecting marine life.
• Tree Planting: We contribute to the health of ecosystems by planting native trees and promoting biodiversity through “Plant a Tree”.
And through our partnership with Costa do Vizir Beach Village – where we stay – we are committed to promoting sustainable practices and environmental preservation, working together to protect our planet. This way we can be complicit in actions like:
• Sustainable Vegetation: Reforestation with native species to create shade and protect the soil.
• Clean Energy: We use LED technology and photovoltaic systems to reduce energy consumption.
• Responsible Use of Water: We implement solar heating systems and collect water for reuse.
• Economia e Gestão de Resíduos: We practice recycling and support small local producers to reduce CO2 emissions and promote the regional economy.
