Terms and conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between Wild Nature Surf Camp and the Traveler when booking a camp at www.wildnaturesurfcamp.com, participating in an activity or purchasing any related products or services. Since these Terms and Conditions constitute an agreement between you and Wild Nature Surf Camp, it is important that you read these Terms carefully before booking your trip or purchasing related products or services. Please note that some Activities are sold but not carried out by Wild Nature Surf Camp, and different terms may apply to these Activities.

- DEFINITIONS
1.1. The following terms and definitions shall have the meaning in these Terms as set forth in this provision: “Activities”: the activities provided at the destination and included in the Tour Package, such as surf lessons, etc. Activities may be provided by Wild Nature Surf Camp, an affiliate, partner or subcontractor of Wild Nature Surf Camp. “Agreement”: these Terms, the Booking Confirmation and other brochures, catalogs and printed materials provided by Wild Nature Surf Camp. “Booking Confirmation”: the confirmation of the Traveler’s booking of a Tour Package sent to the Traveler if the booking is accepted. “Website”: site do Wild Nature Surf Camp www.wildnaturesurfcamp.com. “Tour Package”: Wild Nature Surf Camp provides Tour Packages for travelers. Package Tour refers to an arrangement which has been designed before an agreement is reached and which consists of: transportation and accommodation, or any of these services in combination with any tourist service which is a non-essential part of the arrangement and which is not directly linked to the transportation or accommodation. In addition, it is a condition that the event lasts more than 24 hours or includes overnight stays and is sold or marketed at a common price or at separate prices linked to each other. “Terms”: these Terms and Conditions (this document). “Traveler”: Individuals and companies that purchase services and products from Wild Nature Surf Camp (you).
- RESERVE
2.1. By booking a Tour Package, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms.
2.2. When a booking is sent to Wild Nature Surf Camp, Wild Nature Surf Camp will send a Booking Confirmation immediately after pressing the “confirm” button in the booking system. The booking is binding on both parties only when such Booking Confirmation is sent to you.
2.3. If you make a booking on behalf of other participants, you warrant that you have the authority to accept and do accept these Terms on behalf of the other participants in your booking. When making a booking on behalf of other participants, you are considered the designated contact person for each participant included in that booking. This means that you are responsible for making all payments due in connection with your booking, notifying Wild Nature Surf Camp if any changes or cancellations are necessary and keeping your guests informed.
2.4. Anyone under the age of 18 on the date of their first trip is considered a minor. Persons under the age of 18 are permitted to stay and participate in Wild Nature Surf Camp, but only in the presence of their parents, a parent or guardian and any other person required by applicable law for a minor to travel.
2.5. Anyone booking under a third-party group organizer, such as a university, school, company, etc., may have additional terms specified separately in the organizers’ contract, and it is the organizer’s responsibility to inform the group of travelers of these terms if they affect the traveler in any way.
2.6. Information from the group guest list will be shared with the group organizer, including booking number, payment status and contact information.
2.7. Before invoicing a group organizer where the group organizer assumes full responsibility for the group’s total payment, the privacy statement as well as the terms and conditions will be shared with the group organizer for pre-approval.
2.8. By confirming a booking, any participant also confirms and accepts our terms and conditions, data protection policy and package travel agreement visible at the last stage of the order booking.
2.9. The group organizer assumes responsibility for accepting these terms on behalf of their travel group.
- TRAVELER’S OBLIGATIONS
3.1. The Traveler is responsible for having a complete and valid passport and other documents necessary for the fulfillment of the Tour Package and, if circumstances so require, a visa and necessary vaccinations.
3.2. Travelers are individually obliged to purchase travel insurance that covers medical treatment. The Activities offered by Wild Nature Surf Camp include a certain amount of risk (even with the presence of instructors/guides), and it is the Traveler’s responsibility to ensure that their insurance covers injuries caused by the Activities offered by Wild Nature Surf Camp or any affiliates or subcontractors.
3.3. The Traveler is responsible for booking flights and/or other transportation to the destination indicated when booking the Tour Package. The Traveler must, when booking a Tour Package, inform Wild Nature Surf Camp of his/her nationality, including information on the possession of Portuguese or foreign passports and possibly dual citizenship, so that Wild Nature Surf Camp fulfills its obligation to inform of any passport and visa requirements. Obligation information to inform Wild Nature Surf Camp about passport and visa requirements applies only in relation to EEA nationals.
3.4. The Traveler must, immediately after receiving the Booking Confirmation, review the Booking Confirmation, tickets and other travel documents and ensure that the information is in accordance with the Agreement and that the name is written in the same way as it is in the passport.
3.5. The Traveler must immediately inform Wild Nature Surf Camp of any changes to the Traveler’s contact information, such as address, e-mail address, telephone number, misspellings or other relevant information.
3.6. The Traveler must behave and not in any way harm the comfort and pleasure of the other members of the Tourist Package. Wild Nature Surf Camp reserves the right to withdraw any booking, service or Activity made and/or to refuse or decline any individual as a member of the Package Tour if it appears, in Wild Nature’s discretion, that such individual is likely to jeopardize the health or safety, or impair the comfort and enjoyment of the other members of the Package Tour.
- PAYMENT
4.1. In order to validate your registration and confirm your reservation at “Wild Nature Surf Camp”, the full amount or advance payment of the required services must be paid.
4.2. You can find all the bank details in the confirmation letter, which we will send you by e-mail as soon as you fill in the form on our website.
4.3. The booking will be considered valid when the required amount is transferred to our bank account and you receive a confirmation e-mail with the booking details.
- CONDITIONS
5.1. All personal details are required on the registration form.
5.2. The minimum age for participants is 16. (ask for exceptions and if under 18 – obligation of: presence of parents, a parent or guardian and or any other person required by applicable law for a minor to travel).
5.3. Wild Nature Surf Camp reserves the right to make changes, but only if these changes do not alter the essential services or due to unexpected and uncontrollable situations.
5.4. Booking variations depend on availability and may involve a surcharge depending on the price of new dates/inclusions. You will receive a modification to your booking once the surcharge has been paid. In the event of an increase or decrease in the weekly price, the difference must be paid by one party or the other.
5.5. Images of your stay at Wild Nature Surf Camp are only used for advertising or promotional purposes, such as the website, social networks, flyers, brochures.
5.6. Travelers participate in all Activities at their own risk and are responsible for assessing whether a Tour Package and/or Activity is suitable for them or not. Travelers should consult a physician to confirm their fitness to travel and participate in any planned Activities.
5.7. Wild Nature Surf Camp does not provide medical advice. It is the responsibility of the Traveler to assess the risks and requirements of each aspect of the Tour Package and Activity based on their unique circumstances, limitations, level of fitness and medical requirements.
5.8. To participate in an Activity, you must, upon request, provide any medical information reasonably requested by Wild Nature Surf Camp and may be required to complete the Wild Nature Surf Camp medical information form available at the time of booking or at the destination of the Tour Package.
5.9. Clients must be physically fit and able to swim. The client confirms that, from a medical point of view, there is nothing to stop him from surfing or bodyboarding. We require you to inform us of any relevant medical aspects: allergies, disabilities, medical incapacities, etc.
5.10. Wild Nature Surf Camp is not responsible for wind, wave and weather conditions during your stay and will have the right to cancel surf / diving lessons if wind, wave and weather conditions make it impossible or unsafe to conduct lessons as planned.
5.11. Instructors and guides working for Wild Nature Surf Camp will have full right to make decisions about whether or not conditions are suitable for lessons and will also do their best to make up lessons missed at another time during your stay.
5.12. Wild Nature Surf Camp shall have the full right to decide whether or not the conditions are suitable for lessons, equipment and rentals. Travelers cannot claim a refund due to any other weather conditions that prevent Wild Nature Surf Camp from providing safe lessons and activities.
5.13. The transfer service is subject to availability. We recommend that you request this service when filling in the online booking form or as soon as possible. The price of the transfer will be paid together with the booking. Don’t forget that this price is one way and per person.
5.14. Each client is responsible for Wild Nature Surf Camp’s equipment during use and accepts responsibility for replacing it in the event of loss or serious damage due to improper use. The customer must pay for the lost or damaged equipment, which automatically becomes the customer’s property.
5.15. The excursions and trips we offer are not included in the total price of the camp. They depend on a minimum number of participants and availability. These reasons can lead to the previous one being canceled.
5.16. An administrative fee of €5 will be charged for each booking made by our reservations department staff. This fee will not be charged for bookings made through our website.
5.17. Breakfast:
Wild Nature Surf Camp (WNSC) is committed to providing a daily breakfast that is in line with our values and identity. It is important to note that the breakfast offer is an option, allowing each customer the freedom to choose whether they wish to consume it. This section describes the terms and conditions associated with the breakfast service.
5.17.1. Optional nature of breakfast: The breakfast provided by the WNSC is not compulsory, but is presented as an additional service for the convenience of our guests. Customers are free to decide whether they wish to take advantage of this service during their stay.
5.17.2. Allergies and Dietary Restrictions: WNSC is proud to offer a responsible and conscious breakfast in line with our values. To ensure the safety and well-being of our guests, it is imperative that any allergies or dietary restrictions are communicated in advance. This will make it possible to provide suitable alternatives, promoting a safe and conscious environment.
5.17.3. Breakfast composition: The breakfast offered by the WNSC usually includes items such as: bread, eggs, various fruits, vegetable drink (oatmeal or soy), cheese, beans, tomatoes, avocado, vegetable butter, vegetable yogurt, granola, various nuts, fruit juice and jam. While we strive to provide a balanced and nutritious start to the day, we encourage guests to take responsibility for their overall dietary needs and choices.
5.17.4. Health Warning: It is essential that guests recognize that any health problems arising from the lack of an adequate breakfast are not the responsibility of the WNSC. Although we strive to offer a nutritious breakfast, individual food choices and needs remain the responsibility of the guest.
5.17.5. Guest Responsibility for Balanced Nutrition: WNSC encourages guests to maintain a proper and balanced diet. Any health-related concerns arising from the lack of an adequate breakfast should be addressed by the guest, recognizing their individual responsibility for overall nutrition.
5.17.6. Conclusion: By choosing to participate in the breakfast service at the WNSC, guests agree to abide by these terms and conditions. We believe in transparency and open communication, and we are committed to offering an exceptional and flexible experience for our guests.
- CANCELLATIONS
6.1.The cancellation will be valid on the day we receive it.
We will keep 50% of the total amount paid (if applicable) when cancellations are made less than one month before the start.
We refund 100% of the total amount paid (if applicable) when cancellations are made up to one month before the start.
- WILDNATURE CANCELLATION INSURANCE
7.1. Insurance purchase: our insurance, priced at €5 per night booked, can only be purchased at the time of booking.
7.2. Coverage: The insurance covers cancellations made before your scheduled arrival at Wild Nature surf camp. During your stay, it will only provide cover in cases of major causes, including illness, accidents or injuries.
7.3. Exclusions: The insurance does not extend cover for transfer services for cancellations made less than 2 weeks before.
- RESPONSIBILITIES
8.1. Wild Nature Surf Camp does not accept any liability or refunds in the following circumstances.
- When the customer is responsible for the incorrect delivery of services;
- When defective services are due to third parties or occur unpredictably;
- When services cannot be provided due to conditions beyond the company’s control. These are unusual and unpredictable conditions that can result in unexpected consequences, such as natural disasters or weather aspects, etc;
- When the incorrect delivery of services is caused by events occurring at Wild Nature Surf Camp, despite all due diligence having been taken, which could not have been foreseen, avoided or prevented.
- When any event can occur before and after the course schedule;
- Customers must listen to the instructions of our staff and follow the regulations of Wild Nature Surf Camp. In the event of failure to do so and irresponsible behavior, the company will take the necessary measures, with prior notification, such as exclusion from the courses.
- LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
9.1. Without limiting any other provision of these Terms, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Wild Nature Surf Camp shall not be responsible or liable to any Traveler for:
(a) any injury, damage, loss or delay affecting any person or property not arising out of Wild Nature Surf Camp’s own negligence or breach;
(b) any loss, damage, cost, expense or delay suffered or incurred due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- 1.1. actions or omissions of third parties (including any third party service providers);
- 1.2. communications failure, power systems or breakdowns;
- 1.3. earthquakes, fires, floods, storms or other extreme weather conditions;
- 1.4. acts of war, terrorism, riots or civil disturbances;
- 1.5. damages resulting from any applicable legislation or regulation.
9.2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wild Nature Surf Camp’s total aggregate liability in respect of any claim made by the Traveler (whether arising under these Terms, under contract, tort, statute or otherwise) shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Traveler to Wild Nature Surf Camp under the Agreement.
- WILD NATURE SURF CAMP CODE OF CONDUCT
Our goal at Wild Nature Surf Camp is to provide enjoyable moments for our guests, as well as for everyone who works with us. Any violation of these codes by staff members or guests can and should be reported via this link: info@wildnaturesurfcamp.com
- Respect in the camp:
- Respect other guests and staff, including local staff;
- The camp language at Wild Nature Surf Camp is English to ensure that everyone feels included.
- A safe environment free from discrimination and harassment:
- Wild Nature Surf Camp is committed to providing a safe environment for all its guests and staff, free from discrimination on any basis and any form of harassment in the camps;
- Wild Nature Surf Camp will adopt a zero-tolerance policy for any form of harassment on camp, treat all incidents seriously and promptly investigate all allegations of harassment. Anyone found guilty of harassing another will face disciplinary measures, up to and including dismissal from the camp. All complaints of harassment will be treated seriously, respectfully and confidentially. No one will be victimized for making such a complaint.
- Drugs and alcohol
- Substance abuse is prohibited. Alcohol consumption is not prohibited, but use common sense and never drink in such a way as to compromise performance or inappropriate behavior, endanger the safety of others or break the law;
- Illegal drugs are strictly forbidden at any time.
- Protecting Camp Heritage
- All guests and staff must treat our camps’ property and equipment with respect and care.
- Communication
- Communication between guests and staff should always be done in a respectful manner, regardless of gender, origin, position or sexual orientation.
- Internet use:
- It is forbidden to use our internet connection for:
- Downloading or uploading obscene, offensive or illegal material;
- Sending confidential information to unauthorized recipients;
- Invading someone else’s privacy and gaining access to sensitive information;
- Downloading or uploading pirated movies, music, material or software;
- Visiting potentially dangerous sites that could compromise the security of our network and computers;
- Carrying out unauthorized or illegal actions, such as hacking, fraud or buying/selling illegal goods.

- APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
12.1. This Agreement shall be construed and governed by the laws of Portugal.
12.2. All disputes relating to this Agreement shall be settled by the public courts in Portugal.
